John Bellany

Probably one of the best known artists painting today, John Bellany is generally recognised by his peers as one of the most influential artists to come out of Scotland in the last 50 years. John’s work hangs in many National Galleries, not only in the UK but also worldwide. Hailing as he does from East Lothian, many of his images feature coastal and harbour scenes of the area.  His work is distinctive in its use of vivid colours which make them an attractive addition to any scottish art collection.  Indeed no collection of Scottish contemporary art would be complete without an example of John's work. Moreover, in our opinion, John’s work represents one of the best investment potentials of any contemporary artist.
