Georgina Bown
Since studying at The Chelsea School of Art, Georgina has worked in many different mediums including illustration for advertising, print and architectural design. Moving to Leith she qualified as a welder and fabricator and set up her own business producing large scale public and corporate sculptures to commission in glass and steel which can be found throughout the UK.
Now living and working in North Berwick, she is producing strong, bold linocut and monoprint pictures depicting the fantastic landscape in which she lives. Recently Georgina has been artist in residence for North berwick Community Boat Building Project. She was also an exhibitor at the Visual Arts Summer show and was shortlitsted for the RSA summer Show 2010.
