Lorna Millar
Born in the 1970's in County Down in North Ireland, Lorna Millar, a self-taught artist, has been painting from a very young age and professionally since the early 1990s. Her works of nostalgic windswept beach scenes, family outings and dance have a timeless quality and are bought to life by the thick oil paint that she applies with brush and palette knife in broad, energetic strokes. The overwhelming demand for her work has made her one of Ireland's most collectible artists. Her work can be found in Private and Public Collections in Ireland, throughout Europe and America and as far afield as New Zealand.
