Ernesto Floriano Vaz
Born 1952 in Nairobi, Ernesto came to the UK in 1972, a refugee of Idi Amin's Ugandan regime. Trained at the Glasgow School of Art, he has now set up his own studio close by where he paints full time, experimenting with light & colour. Ernesto is currently fascinated with immediacy versus the subtlety of colour & its ability to express emotions and evoke response.
