Fiona Matheson
Born in 1964 in Aberdeen, Fiona is an established visual artist who lives and works in the Highlands. Her contemporary images reflect the rich culture and heritage of Scotland. As an artist, Fiona's relationship with the Scottish landscape is deep rooted as she comes from a family of generations of crofters in the Highlands and farmers in Aberdeenshire.
Her identifiable canvases, which can measure up to 5 feet, are developed in her studio which overlooks the Moray Firth . Fiona has maintained the unique textural quality and bold colours of her early training.
