John Scott
John, from Stocksfield near Newcastle, was voted Potfest Potter of the Year 2020. He specialises in
Naked Raku, Copper Matt Raku and Sculptural ceramics. having opened Sour Dust Pottery in 1991 at the age of 19.
Naked Raku is unglazed, an organic method which works with all elements - fire, water, air and earth.
Copper Matt Raku produces iridescent, colourful pottery, completely unique and of top quality.
